Promotional terms and conditions for the 2026 Just Eat Awards.

These Promotional terms and conditions (hereinafter: "Terms and Conditions") apply to the Just Eat Awards 2026 (hereinafter: "Just Eat Awards” or "Promotion"). The Just Eat Awards takes on a new edition for 2026 as an annual competition in the search for the best restaurants affiliated with Just Eat that go above and beyond and is organised by Just Eat.co.uk Ltd  ("the Promoter", “Just Eat”, "JET" or "Just Eat Takeaway.com"). Restaurants (hereinafter: “Partners”) that meet the requirements as set out in these Terms and Conditions will be automatically eligible for the Promotion.

Promotion timeframe

  • Shortlisted partners will be notified on 21 July

  • Public voting and judging take place between 11 - 25 August

  • Winners announced 8 September


Definitions

  • “Participant” means any Partner and/or Consumer Participant, as the context requires;

  • “Partner” means a restaurant affiliated with Just Eat that is eligible for and entered into the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;

  • “Consumer Participant” means a member of the public who casts a valid vote during the public voting period;

  • “Promoter”, “Just Eat” or “JET” means Just Eat.co.uk Ltd, whose details appear at the end of these Terms and Conditions;

  • “Prize” means any Partner prize or Consumer Prize offered under these Terms and Conditions;

  • “Promotion” or “Just Eat Awards” means the Just Eat Awards 2026 described in these Terms and Conditions.

Shortlisting period

  • Partners will no longer nominate themselves as per the 2025 Awards process. Just Eat will now nominate Partners from each region to be shortlisted in the relevant award category.

  • Partners selected by Just Eat will be notified via email on 21st July 2026 that they have been put forward for entry. If a Partner does not wish to be entered into the Promotion, they must opt out using the Google form linked in the email by 4th August 2026.

  • If a Partner does not opt out within this two-week period, they will be deemed to have accepted entry into the Promotion and these Terms and Conditions will apply.

  • Partners can win prizes (the “Partner prizes”) as stated in these terms and conditions such as campaign material to help further promote their business

  • Within the Just Eat Awards, we have the following award categories: 

    • Best in London

    • Best in the South East

    • Best in the South West and Wales

    • Best in the East Midlands

    • Best in the West Midlands

    • Best in Scotland

    • Best in the North West

    • Best in the North East

    • Best in Northern Ireland

Partner of the Year (not included as part of the opt out as noted above). This will be awarded directly to the winner based on internal judging and not by consumer vote.


Winner selection

  • The winners of the ‘Best in’ categories will be determined from the shortlist on the basis of public votes and a combined performance score from a panel of judges at Just Eat.

  • Partner of the Year will not go to a public vote and the winner will be determined by our panel of judges at Just Eat.

  • Each award category will have 1 overall winner

  • By casting a public vote, a Consumer Participant has a chance to win a “Consumer Prize as described in these Terms and Conditions. 

  • Public voting will run from 11 - 25 August and the public can vote for nominees on the shortlist in their respective categories via a publicly accessible website.

  • If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period or is not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond the Promotions reasonable control, then the Promotion reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.


Partner Prizes

  • A Partner can be a winner in one Regional category only

  • Winners of each Regional category willcan win all the following:

    • £5,000 cash

    • £500 TopRank credit

    • Winner trophy

    • Winner window sticker


Consumer Prizes

  • A consumer can win 1 of the 100 available £50 Just Eat credit vouchers.


General Promotional Terms - Restaurant

These Terms apply to the Just Eat Awards and its entrants agree to these Terms. Participants who breach these Terms and Conditions will be excluded from participating in the Promotion

  1. Employees of Just Eat, their associates, affiliates or subsidiaries, and their family members, agents or anyone connected with the Promotion are excluded from participating through voting in the Promotion.

  2. Just Eat reserves the right, acting reasonably and where necessary (including for legal, regulatory, fraud or other reasons beyond its reasonable control), to withdraw, suspend or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions without liability to any Participant save as required by law.

  3. Promotional materials relating to the Promotion shall also form part of these Terms and Conditions, but in the event of any conflict between such promotional materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

  4.  Just Eat may refuse or exclude nominees and winners acting reasonably on legitimate grounds (including suspected fraud, breach of these Terms and Conditions, or failure to meet the eligibility criteria), without being liable for any damages suffered by Participant. 

  5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Partner or public vote which in the opinion of the judging panel, do not comply with these terms and conditions or do not participate in the spirit of the Promotion or who are suspected of engaging in unfair or unjust behaviour.The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably, to disqualify the Participant from the Promotion and to remove any affected votes.  If fraud is suspected or confirmed on the part of a Participant, the Participant in question will be immediately disqualified. Fraud is in any case understood to mean: falsifying, buying and/or otherwise influencing Just Eat reviews or votes for the Awards.

  6. The winner is chosen based on a weighted average of the nominee who receives the most votes. All votes will be filtered and fraudulent votes will be removed.

  7. Just Eat will not disclose the votes received to the public

  8. The full list of winners will be announced on awards.just-eat.co.uk no later than 10 September

  9. At the time of judging and voting, Just Eat Partners must have:

  • an FSA rating of 5, or a Pass in Scotland

  • been operating with Just Eat for a minimum of a year

  • an average food rating of 3.6 or above, and a minimum of 20 average monthly orders (measured over the 12 months preceding judging)

  • photos across at least 20% of their menu

Winners of the Just Eat Awards warrant that the personal information provided to Just Eat is accurate, truthful and complete.

  1. The cash prize will be paid to winners within 1 month of winners being announced and 

  2. The TopRank Credit will be automatically applied to the Eligible Partner's TopRank wallet within their Partner Hub account by 11 September 2026. TopRank charges will apply once the credits are used or expired. Issued credits expire on 11 March 2027.

  3. The winner trophy and window stickers will either be posted to the winning restaurant address or delivered by a Just Eat representative. 

  4. Prizes may not be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash or other goods, prizes or services. In the event that the winner refuses a Prize, the Prize remains the property of Just Eat 

  5. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes (or any part thereof) with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that the original Prize(s) offered is unavailable or as a result of any event beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter (including, but not limited to, cases where the prize is withdrawn by the provider of that prize before the Promotion takes place).


General Promotional Terms – Consumer

By placing a vote a Consumer Participant has the opportunity to win a Consumer Prize as described in these Terms and Conditions. There will be a maximum of 100 winners.

  1. Consumer prize winners will be determined at random via a prize draw. To win, at least one vote must have been cast during the voting phase and the vote verified on awards.just-eat.co.uk 

  2. By casting a vote, a consumer has the opportunity to win one of 100 £50 Just Eat Vouchers (Consumer Prize) as described in these Terms and Conditions. There are a maximum of 100 winners.

  3. The winners warrant that the personal information provided to Just Eat is accurate, truthful and complete

  4. A winner can be selected only once

  5. Winners will be notified by email, to the email they confirmed their vote with by 25 September at the latest.

  6. Any Consumer Participant data collected will be used for the purpose of administering the promotion and contacting the winners to notify them of the prize and, if you are the winner, we may pass them on to third parties to deliver the prize. Data will be stored for 1 month following the closing of the voting period, or until the prize is claimed if this is sooner 

  7. Employees of Just Eat, their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents or anyone connected with the Promotion are excluded from voting and therefore any Consumer Prizes 

  8. Prizes are personal and may not be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash or other goods, prizes or services. In the event that the Consumer participant refuses a Prize, the Prize remains the property of Just Eat 


Privacy

  1. Both the privacy statement of Just Eat for Partners, which can be found at https://www.just-eat.co.uk/partner/signup/privacy-statement/, and the privacy statement for Customers which can be found at https://www.just-eat.co.uk/privacy-policy) apply to the personal information the Participant shares in connection with the Just Eat Awards.

  2. Participants agree that if they win a Prize, they will be announced as the winners using their first and last name, as well as the name of the restaurant on awards.just-eat.co.uk and the social media channels of Just Eat Takeaway.com.

  3. Just Eat Takeaway.com cannot be held liable for the processing of personal data by social media channels. We advise you to read the privacy statements of social media channels for more information about the processing of personal data by the social media channels.


Liability

  1. Participants acknowledge that participation in the Just Eat Awards is at their own risk.

  2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by an Participant or his/her/their accompanying companions as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting any Prize.

  3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  4. If the Promotion is terminated, amended or suspended for any reason, Just Eat Takeaway.com and third parties engaged by Just Eat Takeaway.com are not liable for any damage or costs incurred by Participants and Participants are not entitled to compensation.

  5. Just Eat Takeaway.com and third parties engaged by Just Eat Takeaway.com are not liable for malfunctions in the network, hardware or software due to social media channels as a result of which data is delayed or lost.


Other

These Terms and Conditions can be accessed and downloaded at awards.just-eat.co.uk 

  1. These Terms and Conditions will not be adjusted by Just Eat Takeaway.com during the Promotion Period of the Just Eat Awards, subject to obvious errors and spelling errors.

  2. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. All disputes arising from the Just Eat Awards or these Terms and Conditions will be submitted to the competent courts in England, except that residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts.

  3. Any gambling taxes due in respect of this Promotion and/or any withholding tax that must be withheld from a Prize are for the account of Just Eat 

  4. Any taxes (other than gambling taxes and/or withholding taxes) due in respect of this Promotion are for the account of the winner.

  5. A winner should consult their own (tax) advisors regarding the local tax and legal consequences of winning a Prize as won Prizes may need to be declared to the local (tax) authorities.
